Courtney Bass Sherizen

Courtney Bass Sherizen is the Chief Talent and Culture Officer at the Wikimedia Foundation. Prior to Wikimedia, Courtney was a Director of People Operations at Google. While at Google, Courtney created the Global HR Crisis Management Office. Courtney began her career as a Teach For America teacher. She founded a travel consultancy in Beijing and has worked as a management consultant for Monitor Deloitte. Courtney holds a B.A. from Harvard College, a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and Certificates from M.I.T and Northwestern University. Courtney sits on the Board of Directors of the Donors of Color Network and Beta Financial Services. She is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
