Dolores Garay

Dolores Garay, a Colorado-based fundraising powerhouse, proudly wears the titles of hellraiser, childraiser, and fundraiser. Her expertise lies in building strong partnerships with donors and fostering a sense of community within organizations. She spent two decades collaborating with frontline groups championing education, health, youth, LGBTQ+, media, social justice, and philanthropy. Most notably, she is an expert in working with Latinx major donors. She conceptualized and led the very first giving circle at the Latino Community Foundation in San Francisco in 2007, directed the most successful fundraising events in their organizational history at California Rural Legal Assistance Inc and GRID Alternatives. She is a nationally recognized fundraising trainer and event emcee. With a keen heart for cultivating relationships, Dolores orchestrates our network growth, engagements, and strategy as our Membership Director.
